Environmental laws outnumbering health & safety

Research by NEBOSH between August 2009 and August 2010 found that more than 50 new environmental regulations were introduced compared to just 5 new health & safety regulations during the same period.

The research also shows that more and more health & safety managers are being given responsibility for environmental management.

As a consequence, it is important that health & safety managers address any gaps in their knowledge.
