In order to continuously improve the service we provide to you,
we have been developing a Health & Safety section within our
online management system, MentorLive. We are now delighted
to be able to tell you that this new Health & Safety section
will go live in January 2011. MentorLive Health &
Safety contains a wealth of information, as well as a range of
management tools, which have all been designed to make it easier to
keep your business in line. Access to the system is available to
all existing Mentor Health & Safety customers.
The management tools include:
Incidents & Accidents
You can use this module to record details of all incidents and
accidents in your business. This can replace your paper-based
accident book. To get the greatest benefit from this module, you
should enter as much detail on any incidents as possible. If the
incident/accident is RIDDOR-reportable, the information entered in
this module will partly populate a RIDDOR report which will save
you considerable time. The module also enables you to investigate
each incident/accident as well as calculate the costs associated
with it.
Risk Assessment
Use this module to complete risk assessments online. The module
takes you through the risk assessment process step by step. At
present you can complete COSHH, manual handling and risk
assessments on specific activities. The completed assessments can
be viewed online or printed out.
Compliance Audit
We support our online offering with a site visit that results in
your Consultant creating your compliance audit. This audit advises
you on your current level of safety performance, where you need to
focus your efforts to improve and, most importantly, how to achieve
and then maintain legal compliance. It also
doubles as an action plan, enabling you to allocate
responsibility for any improvements identified by your
Consultant.
